Blog Post 4- Choreographic devices/ Motif Development

To develop from my stimulus, I have focused my motifs to have clear motion thus presenting a clear narrative to the audience. Some examples of choreographic devices that I have used within the piece are, embellishment, fragmentation, instrumentation, repetition, beat, choreographic structure, narrative structure, motif development, retrograde. Below I have attached videos of examples of using these devices within my choreography. Using these devices has intensified the communication of the stimulus to the audience which has created the desired impact for the piece.
